Who Is This Datuk Z?
Another disgraceful and scandalous chapter in the awarding of Datukships in our country is about to be written. This time the principal actor is one with the honour of having the last letter in the alphabet - Datuk Z.
According to the Home Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Radzi Sheikh Ahmad the Immigration Department is probing this Datuk Z for illegally using the name of a company, Saibaa Tech Elektronik Sdn Bhd (Saibaa Tech), based in Kota Tinggi to import Bangladeshi workers. The matter came to light when the above company informed the immigration authorities that they had never applied to import foreign workers. Investigations revealed that our man Z had illegally forged and changed the place of work of these Bangla workers to another company Robex Ltd (Robex), a Singapore concern based in Senai, Johor.
On further probing it was found that 39 of these foreigners were using original documents belonging to Bangla workers who had only a few years ago left Malaysia under an amnesty programme! And all this was masterminded by our mysterious Datuk Z.
Latest information states that our friend Z has been identified and is expected to appear before Johor Immigration officers today for questioning. What do you think does such a person deserve? Apparently he is some bigshot and has managed to get a datukship which he is using to his advantage. Which state government awarded him the title I'd love to know.

mob, at this rate we shall be soon running out of alphabets and have to identify them JPJ style - Datuk H374, Dato D26 etc!
Better still we should tag them like canines and install a microchip with GPRS so we'd know who's been where doing what !
It is indeed sad that these guys have no respect whatsoever towards the Sultan or our King who bestowed the title.
