Khir Toyo - Don't Grandstand Or Threaten. Do Your Duty And Demolish Zakaria's Palace.

So Khir Toyo is squaring off for a battle royale with the people. For what? The preservation of that ugly monument of corruption, Istana Zakaria.

This short-statured politician with a big heart only for the likes of Zakaria Md Deros, issued what I'm convinced are empty threats that all buildings in Selangor, including places of worship, political party centres, industrial and commercial premises and individual houses will be checked to determine if their building plans had been approved.

He neither has the gonads nor the guts to embark on this foolish venture which has every chance of dramatically backfiring. If he thinks that people are going to be cowed by his keris-waving bravado, he's got another thing coming. How dare he attempt to hold the state and by extension the nation to ransom by this empty threat just to protect one corrupt politician. If Pak Lah and the other senior leaders still have some self-respect, this is the time to let the people see it. They have to publicly take Toyo to task and order him to take severe action against Zakaria or face the consequences himself.

By linking religious places of worship and offices of political parties Toyo is merely trying to cloud the issue which is the tearing down of an illegal palace. We all know that if push comes to shove Toyo like other Umno political leaders will not hesitate to play the race/religion card.

You can expect that if this ploy doesn't work, Toyo will think up of another and another to save the palatial future residence of the people's servant, Zakaria. The current threat won't work because the BN will not sanction such an unpopular decision which may cost it the next elections. And without the Umno HQ approval which Toyo runs to at every turn, this threat won't materialise. Toyo is a spineless politician who has got away with it because the higher-ups in Umno are too busy with their own agenda and have little time to spare for 'small' matters involving this pint-sized megalomaniac. It's about time that someone taught him a lesson that he'll not easily forget. Vote him out in the next elections, I say.

May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala give them their dues!

I applaud your stand on this blatant corruption taking place before our very eyes!

Khir Toyo is as corrupt as the Gucci sunglass wearing corrupt Datuk Zakaria and their cronies!

You have my full support in your expose here!

May the people of Malaysia know what to do when the time comes to form the next government or they can rest assured that the likes of this bloody corrupt socalled leaders in government will still be there to rob this nation blind till Doomsday!

Your call for this Istana Zakaria to be demolished is correct!

The alternative will be to turn it into a community centre for all the people living there and be the local branch of the Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat or turned into an orphanage or old folks home!

Bro Mahaguru58 thanks for those kind words. Your suggestion, "the alternative will be to turn it into a community centre for all the people living there and be the local branch of the Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat or turned into an orphanage or old folks home," is a much better option than tearing it down. Will some truly compassionate leader up there take the challenge?

demolishing the diseased building is no good, toyo and zak should be banished to guatamala bay if not burned at the stake ( afterall they lash people for drinking beer and chop off people's hands for much smaller infringements !)

"We know there are many buildings in Selangor without proper planning permission... There are illegal tokong, temples and surau. What will happen if I were to demolish these buildings? It will become a racial and religious issue." [ref below]

Strange, it didn't seem to be a problem when they were knocking down Hindu temples...

toniXe, while I can appreciate your anger, I don't think Toyo and Zak are going to be banished any time soon, although the idea is very very appealing indeed.
billy, I don't think the federal government will be too concerned. The Sultan more probably might initiate some action.
Good point on the Hindu temples jul, but hey, whose listening to us?

Based on DPM's past words and deeds, I would not be surprised if a certain ethnic group or a defunct political ideology is cast as the cause of all of UMNO's self-inflicted woes this coming November. Which, incidentally reminds of a Story.....

Once a Tiger cub strayed away and ventured into a herd of Elephants. Unfortunately, the cub being small and all, was trampled in a stampede. Soon after a Jackal found the body of cub and immediately informed the parents.

"I have terrible news. Your son is lying dead in the field." the Jackal said.

"How did it happen? Who did this? I will never rest until I have my revenge!" roared the father Tiger.

"The Elephants did it." answered the Jackal. Quite startled by the Jackal's reply, the Tiger paced back and forth for a few minutes, growling and shaking his head.

"No! you are wrong," the Tiger said at last. "It was the Goats who murdered my Boy!"

And, at once the Tiger bounded down the hill and sprang upon a herd of Goats gazing in the valley below, and in a violent rage killed as many as he could in revenge.
