Puteri Umno - Smart, Beneficent, Practical. Putera Umno? The Less Said The Better!
The 5,000-member strong Puteri Umno Smart Consumer Squad will be beefed up next year to enhance its role in promoting prudent buying habits among the people, said Puteri Umno Chief Datuk Noraini Ahmad. She said a member each from every Puteri branch throughout the country would be enlisted for the squad to reinforce its position.
The role of the squad set up last month to disseminate information about consumer rights among the people remain unchanged, she told reporters after handing out hampers to senior citizens and orphans from the Temerloh parliamentary constituency at Masjid Taman Seri Semantan, here Tuesday.
On Puteri Umno's preparation in facing the next general election, she said the movement was already going round meeting the people. "Puteri will continue to carry out humanitarian and welfare work as spelt out by the party leadership to promote a caring society," she said.
The movement also handed over 196 festive hampers to patients at Sultan Ahmad Shah Hospital, Temerloh.
In PENDANG, Pendang Puteri Umno chief Suraya Yaacob, riding pillion on a motorcycle, went round to several villages in the district to hand over alms, foodstuff and groceries to poor families. The journey which began at 4 pm, took the Sungai Tiang Assemblywoman over 25km astride a motorcycle, and ended at 7 pm.
**** Please compare the above with the shenanigans of the Putera Umno and decide for yourselves which group is genuine and serious about their vocation. But unfortunately it won't be the Puteri who will end up getting Datukships, contracts, millions of ringgit and dozens of ministerial posts. That dubious privilege will still go to the men, even as incompetent as they are. Life alas is not fair; even for the Bumiputeris.

Mamak KJ and Mamak Azeez are both angling for cabinet seats. They think by coralling the Mat Rempits into UMNO Youth and Putera UMNO, the big guns will \'approve\' cabinet positions for them in the near future. The Mat Rempits have been used as political tools and most negative comments that they are getting are actually indirect criticisms of these two Mamaks foolish attempts to gain political influence. I truly pity the Boys and Babes in Blue and White who had had to \'babysit\' this whole nonsense all this time. My salutes to them and may you guys and gals get a good pay rise in the next coming budget!
Datuk Azalina Othman Said earned her spurs, and cabinet post, for her contributions to the 2004 general elections and also for the beneficial programs thought out by Puteri UMNO. This country should constantly be put on guard against these two devious and \'dayus\' Deputy Mamaks and their Sheriff from Turkey. Our country has had 22 years of Mamak nonsense and we should not tolerate any more Kerala or Ankara shenanigans.
