EPF Accounts Details Through SMS Anyone?
Employees Provident Fund (EPF) members and their employers can now obtain the latest details of their accounts through the SMS, known as m-Account.
EPF Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Organisational Development and Strategic Planning) for EPF Rusma Ibrahim said, m-Account has a reliable security system and is offered to i-Account holders.
This i-Account can be registered through http://www.kwsp.gov.my/
"After registering with i-Account, they must activate m-Account by typing AKTIF and send it to 36373," she said in a statement Wednesday.
Consumers will be required to pay 20 sen for each message received.
She added, m-Account enables members to obtain information such as their profiles, current and yearly balance of accounts, members' contribution nd employers' contribution and withdrawal records.
