Inflammatory SMS. Umno Keris Wielders' Subterfuge Starts?
Police today warned the public not to be influenced by text messages calling on the Malays to assemble at Istana Iskandariah in Kuala Kangsar this afternoon.
Perak police chief Datuk Zulkefli Abdullah said firm action would be taken on people participating in the assembly because no permits or applications for such permits had been approved.
He said any individual or organisation planning the assembly would face action.
"Police will take action on those holding any assembly anywhere because it will lead to undesirable outcome," he told Bernama here.
He was commenting on the spread of text messages calling on the Malays to a rally at Istana Iskandariah to protest against the DAP "for challenging Malay supremacy". (Bernama)
***** Now who would gain most by spreading race-hate text messages at this point of national reconciliation and resurgent muhibbah?
Who would throw around potentially alarming terms like "protest against the DAP for challenging Malay supremacy"?
Who would love to disrupt the peace, spread hatred among the races, see chaos in the streets, divide the nation and project themselves as the only savior of bangsa, agama dan negara?
Which archaic group of racists, out-of-touch with the times and fearing a total wipe-out in the future, will risk public upheaval and riots merely to restore their credibility and image among those who have firmly rejected them as corrupt, race-baiting, power hungry opportunists? Take your pick.
