Umno Midgets Abdul Ghani Othman And Annuar Musa Join Kubang Pasu Sandiwara.
The lengths to which the political midgets in Umno will go, to get the big party bosses' attention and recognition is laughable. For them grovelling, licking boots and becoming willing, unsolicited minor players in a sandiwara is part and parcel of their 'struggle' in politics.
While everybody else seems to know or at least are suspicious that the Umno leadership is trying its best to close the door on Mahathir's presence at the upcoming general assembly, the above mentioned two dwarfs are trying to give it a slightly different spin. That story here......
........Two Umno state liaison committee chairmen have advised Kubang Pasu Umno Division members against voting for Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad as a delegate at the party general assembly in November.
Johor Umno Liaison Committee Chairman Datuk Abdul Ghani Othman and Kelantan Umno Liaison Committee Chairman Datuk Seri Annuar Musa concurred that it would not be appropriate for the former prime minister to be seated among the delegates at the general assembly after having held the reins of the party for a long time. They felt that Dr Mahathir should continue to be regarded in high esteem.
"Make the best decision this Saturday and I believe Kubang Pasu Umno members will place Tun Dr Mahathir in his present status," Abdul Ghani, who is also Johor menteri besar, told reporters.
Annuar said he was against the election of Dr Mahathir as a Kubang Pasu Umno Division delegate because, if the former prime minister was elected, it would affect the morale of party members. "I feel Umno members want to see Tun occupy a front seat as a distinguished guest at the general assembly and not as a delegate," he said.
**** See what I mean? The message from them is clear, "get the old geezer out of the way by not voting for him." But note the sopan santun style employed by our midgets in praising and putting Mahathir on a pedestal. They must be thinking that Umno members and the general public are suckers to be taken in by this silly playacting and false respect for a party elder.
It is true what Mahathir once said in a poem he recited, ironically in an Umno general assembly, "Melayu Mudah Lupa."

Betul. Melayu mudah lupa. Mereka ni lebih pikir dgn masa depan dan cari makan. Lupalah je ketua tua!
anonymous, absolutely correct. Self-interest is what motivates them, despite all the fancy excuses they may give us.
When Pak Lah wanted to making him a minister in KL the coward Abdul Ghani went crying to Sultan Johor to stay back in JB. Because as MB you can become kaya-raya. Now he wants to backstab his old boss. typical politicain lah.
