In essence what the PAS Vice President is saying is that because of the attitude of the public who does not want to see change, the Umno leaders are taking advantage by swindling and indulging in other acts of corruption. The end result is that the public suffers.
He said that there have been many important matters and issues that have been hidden and kept away from the public eye. Only now when the top leaders are involved in a war of words, that all the secrets are coming out with finger-pointing and blaming each other. A good example is the'crooked bridge' controversy. Only after the revelations by Dr Mahathir is the public aware of the real reason for halting the construction of the bridge. Now the people know that billions of ringgit have been lost. For long PAS has been speaking on this but the public did not want to believe. Now they know better.
Umno leaders he says, are not afraid to swindle because they know no matter how corrupted they are, when election time comes the people will vote for them. No matter what they do, the public will cast their vote for their party.
That he says is the main reason why Umno leaders are involved in bribery, corruption and have destroyed the national wealth. When finally money runs out it will be the public who have to suffer. If the people don't change their attitude of not wanting to vote other parties in the next elections then the country is doomed.

Spot on perlisan. A significant and meaningful change in PAS' attitude and actions should see a very positive vote-swing in their favour.
i have always felt that PAS will become more responsible than Umno if they are elected. Our public especially the non muslims are so afraid. See the PAS leaders in the funeral of a Buddist priest. where were the Umno leaders?
