Are Money, Girls And Handphones Enough Incentives To Convert Young Muslims?

On the face of it that headline really sounds ridiculous. But there are fertile minds out there who actually believe that the Muslim remaja's will and belief is so weak and tenous that a little cash, pussy and a cell-phone is enough to make them cross over and be declared murtad!

Apparently there is a group of diehard 'converters of Muslims' in Seremban 2 who are 'aggressively converting' young men and women between 17 and 25 years. One such nutcase spreading these rumours is the Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Surau, Garden Homes, Azman Basra, who has a hypothesis that since the younger ones are not so pegang to their akidah they are easy meat for these purveyors of cash, flesh and phones. By the way, male murtad wannabes are given female sexual partners while potential lady murtads are supplied male (?gigolos) by this 'Christian' group! No details are given regarding male homosexuals and lesbians.

According to Azman there are ramai remaja dari taman-taman sekitar Seremban 2 murtad dan bilangannya cukup besar. How this has managed to escape the eyes of the authorities is a mystery. To be fair, I think the cops along with the religious department should investigate and if there is truth to the allegation, appropriate action should be taken. However if it proves to be another false alarm, then our suspected nutcase Azman Basra should face the full force of the law for spreading damaging rumours on a 'sensitive' subject. He should also be condemned for branding our young Malay men and women as cash hungry, materialistic, sex-crazed perverts.

Please remember the PM's Ban On Raising Sensitive Issues For Racial Harmony applies to everyone.
An interesting read from Walski's myAsylum.

There seems to be this trend of planting the fear of... well, almost everything, into the mindset of Malay/Muslims in this country. The case you've cited is new to me - but the phenomenon is not.

I just posted something along similar lines (great minds, eh?), and it includes another ludicrous claim made by certain parties, which you can read here (it's in B. Malaysia).

My take is that fear is being used to control the minds of those who've chosen to abdicate their intellect - and there are more than a few abdicatees...

This is the game they play every now and then, only those spiritually blinded will have the fear. What about the incentive of RM10,000 for orang asli convert to Islam?

If this type of racial & religious instigation & the mob mentally shown in the previous Ipoh case persist, it won't be suprise that one day, the situation will get out of control with grevious consequences.
Will the authority kindly intervene? Use ISA if needed, for our society is still not matured. These instigators (racist & religious extremist) should be put behind bar for good. We donot want another racial clash or even worst, a religious clash.
