How Much Does The Datuk K - Siti Nurhaliza Wedding Cost?
By that question I am not including the 'loss' of property to his ex-wife, merely the cost of the reception and things directly related to it. "Why bother about the amount?" one may ask. True. Normally I suppose we won't be too concerned. But when I read the whopping estimate I thought that this info should be shared with others. Surprisingly even Datuk K has been taken aback by this estimate by the Malay Mail.
“THE amount is not true.” So said Datuk Khalid Mohd Jiwa, 47, who yesterday denied that the cost of his wedding to pop sensation Siti Nurhaliza Taruddin, 27, may reach RM12,888,888.
He said the amount reported in the Weekend Mail issue is inaccurate. “The figure is not right and it will never reach that staggering amount. It (the sum quoted) is way too much,” said Khalid.
In the report, Malay Mail had played accountant for the day and calculated the probable amount of the wedding expenses based on previous reports.
Despite commenting on the matter in TV3’s Tiada Rahsia on Saturday, Khalid reiterated to The Malay Mail that the wedding bill will not ‘go into the millions’. “Most of the cost of the wedding is being sponsored.
“It is only the cost of the ‘kenduri kahwin’ that will be borne by our parties, and it will never reach the millions, ” he said.

With a wedding that involvies one(two?) of the most popular icon in Malaysia, it's no suprise that many entities are willing to fork for it.
Just imagined the ammount of guest coming for that wedding alone justify the cost of adverti...I mean sponsors. ;)
I like to nominate/sponsor myself as the Security Initiative for the duit mas/hantaran and ALL gifts while the happy couple bersanding...
