Datuk Seri Shahrizat - Well Done.

Only a few days ago I had posted about the heartless officers in the education ministry regarding the transfer of some poor teachers and their dilemma.

It now transpires that after The Star highlighted the issue it got the attention of the Women, Family and Community Development Minister, Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil who has taken an active interest in their case and has promised to speak to the education minister about it. She is concerned about the effect the transfer will have on their families since most of them are married.

This is the type of response we expect from all ministers and government leaders, that when bureaucracy goes blind they will lead the people who voted them to power and reverse unjust decisions made on their behalf by civil servants who care only about their month-end salary.
