Islamophobia Taking Root In France. Muslim Graves Desecrated In French WW1 Cemetery
Vandals desecrated 148 graves in the Muslim section of a military cemetery in northern France, hanging a pig’s head on one of the headstones, police said on Sunday.French President Nicolas Sarkozy called the attack "a hateful act" and around 100 police were sent to the Notre-Dame de Lorette cemetery near Arras to hunt for clues.
State prosecutor Jean-Pierre Valensi said the vandals struck overnight, daubing insults on the graves.
"They directly referred to Islam and there were also insults directed at the justice minister," Valensi said, referring to Rachida Dati, whose parents came from North Africa.
The desecration came almost exactly a year after youths daubed Nazi inscriptions and swastikas on Muslim tombs in the same cemetery in Ablain Saint-Nazaire.
France’s political class united in denouncing the vandalism.
"This is a most unacceptable act of racism and the president shares the pain of France’s Muslim community," Sarkozy’s office said in a statement. Prime Minister Francois Fillon called it a "revolting act" and said those responsible would be found.
Police arrested two men over the 2007 attack and sentenced them each to a year in prison.
Notre-Dame de Lorette is one of France’s biggest World War One military cemeteries and was built on the site of a battlefield where many French and German soldiers died between October 1914 and October 1915.
During World War One, France mobilised about 600,000 colonial subjects, including many Muslims from Algeria and Tunisia, of whom 78,000 were killed. Some 1.2 million French soldiers were killed in all during the war.
France is home to 5 million Muslims, Europe’s largest Muslim community, making up 8 percent of France’s population.
The MRAP anti-racism group said this latest desecration showed that "Islamophobia" was taking root in France. (Tiscali)

Muslims "eradicate" Jews?! Why don't you read how feudal Europe tortured and desecrated the Jews, forcing them to flea to the middle east and north africa where they found refuge with the muslims who sheltered and accepted them as part of their communities (there are large thriving jewish communities all over north africa remnants from this time).
Hitler did not start something new by anti-Semitic propaganda & torture. It was already there in their history.
Muslims are angry with the Jewish state of Israel. This is POLITICAL, not religious. Why don't you read up on the history of the establishment of the State of Israel by the British / French / later the Americans? They don't want the Jews so they carved out a country for them in the middle of Palestine (already a legitimate Arab state), and then violated numerous UN Resolutions through their veto powers against the will of the rest of the world to keep pushing the borders until the Palestinians are now beggars in their own land. Even China does not support them.
The muslims oppose the illegal State of Israel created against all laws of the UN because it has caused untold suffering on the Palestinian people. They shoot live bullets at kids whose only weapons are stones & whose only intent is in protecting their homeland from being taken away foot by foot.
If the US were serious about getting rid of al Qaeda & the suicide bombers, they should show sincerity in addressing this great injustice. But of course, it is not in their interests at all.

Oh and about the invasion of Israel aeon ago? Was that right? Displacing the Jews of their land was right? Don't get me wrong, I'm not unsympathetic to the plight of the Palestinians but they have done just as much wrong as some of the actions of the Jews against them.
Oh and don't kid yourself thinking al-qaeda is only doing what its doing because of Israel. Without Israel, they'd either be fighting among themselves or terrorising the rest of the world.
If I have the power to capture the dirty racist,bastard culprits who attack the muslim graves - I shall cut his filthy limp penis and his saggy dirty scrotum and shall stuff it into their smelly mouths as a punishment and as a diet.
I shall make sure they must finish eating their stuffs completely.
