Samy Vellu Wants Government To Speed Up Plans Promised To Indian Community
Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu wants the government to speed up the implementation of the various programmes and plans promised to the Indian community before the recently-concluded general election.
The MIC president said any delay would only cause anxiety and unhappiness to the community which will not tolerate any more excuses or delays on the part of the authorities.
“We want immediate and concrete action,” he said in a statement here today.
Samy Vellu said the party had already submitted several reports on how the government could help the Indians in several fields.
He also chided the opposition for harping on what it claimed as the government’s failure in addressing the problems of the Indians. (NST)
***** The very fact that Sam is now demanding 'immediate and concrete action' only goes to show that the opposition was right when they highlighted that the 'government failed to address the problems of the Indians'.
All these 'demands' and 'strongly' speaking up for the Indians which Semi Value seems to be indulging in now should have been done regularly and in no uncertain terms in the 30 years he was in the Cabinet. What's the point of trying to sound terribly concerned now when he's no more a force to be reckoned with?
At best this Samy Vellu strategy is merely devised to prop himself up and still maintain his position as the 'spokesman-in-chief' for all Indians. In the process he will undermine the authority of the Indian minister in the Cabinet and let it be known to all and sundry that he is still the one who calls the shots in the MIC despite having been humiliated in the last elections.
Too little too late Sam. Let those who have been successful in the elections and now legitimately hold office perform their duties unhindered and don't try to outflank them or selfishly attempt to remain in the limelight. You're a spent force whose time to retire and fade away came twenty years ago. Through your bullheadedness you persisted in clinging on to power by looking the other way while Umno was committing so many atrocities and you readily and selfishly bartered Indian rights in exchange for your personal political primacy. However now you have been shown the door by the very people whom you claimed to have served. So for God's sake please go and spend the fortune that you have in India, here and Australia.

I have to admit I was wrong.
Since Semi-Value as head of the MIC couldn't be directly fired from the Cabinet, the only way I thought would be for the people of Sungai Siput to kick him out as MP.
They have done just that, but Semi-Value still doesn't get the message.
Go Samy, get lost...you had your chance for 25 years, you blew it.
Hahahaha...can someone please tell this idiot to go away?! He is not needed!
Talk about "thick skin"!
Semi value, doesn't want to go away, because he is scared that they would kick his son out. What the Indians should do, is to kick that asshole in the MIC presidential election.
Screw you bloody semi value.
He must be the most thick skinned person in Malaysia !
Samy Vellu should revert back to his original name; Vellusamy!! Then give him another 30 years to help the Indians and not only Tamils.
