Struggling Indian Actor Kunal Singh Commits Suicide
A struggling Indian actor allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his rented apartment in the posh Lokhandwala complex locality on Thursday.
Kunal Singh was found hanging at his apartment in Andheri in Northwest Mumbai.
The reason behind the actor taking the extreme step is yet to be ascertained, a senior police officer from the Oshiwara police station said. Not being able to make it big in the cinema world has been looked upon as a potential reason for the actor’s desperate act.
The 31-year-old actor acted in some Hindi movies including 'Dil Hi Dil Mein' opposite Sonali Bendre released in 2000 and also featured in several Tamil movies. Lately he had switched over to film production and was working on a Hindi project, he said.
The actor is survived by his wife, two children and his father who is a colonel with the Army. The police are investigating the matter and have asked the family to offer their support for uncovering the reason behind the suicide. The family however has refused to release any formal statement.
His body has been sent for post-mortem.

He's done only one bolly movie as far as i know... even then the tamil version was more successfull. he's better know as a kollywood (tamil filmdom) actor, even though he is a northern indian. he's better known for his good boy roles.. when tamil films have evolved into better and meatier stuff.
most indian stars commit suicide due to debts, failed love- life or humiliation to something. i think this guy must have had money problems.

iam very disagree with the guy who write that this guy had the money problem..coz this shud not only b d single reason to do this big thing... whearas he already know that he has a kids in his home...anyways god bless his soul....muskan
he wouldn't stand a chance if he was in Malaysia. he would be committing suicide after few months not years.
It is painful to see fellow humans dropping off like withered leaves. I can't imagine the tortured state of his mind at the time he made the decision to take his own life. My heart goes out for all of them, for that moment, they decide in haste, that there is no future for them.
