Umno Can Remain Relevant In Future Only If NEP Is Priority, Says Khir Toyo

That's honesty for you. Very truthful of Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohamed Khir Toyo to tell it as it is. In essence what he is saying is: "If There Is No NEP, Then Out Goes Umno." So forget about all that "we are continuing our struggle demi bangsa, agama dan negara" crap. Ultimately it boils down to Umno's very existence. Period.

Not only that, he voluntarily disclosed that Umno is pretty distrustful of the average Malay and wouldn't be surprised and indeed expects him to jump ship if ever he feels that it is more advantageous to support the opposition. To quote Khir Toyo, "without such a thrust (NEP), the Malays could switch their support to religion-based parties such as PAS or other opposition parties including Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR)."

So basically these insecure fellas can keep on ruling and pretty much do as they please as long as they ply the Malays with goodies day after day after day. Much like the British Opium strategy in China but only with something more addictive - fast money, secure jobs with out of turn promotions, easy access to education whether deserving or not. The works, the whole enchilada.

As an indication that there will not be a let up in the continued implementation of the Never Ending Policy, (and who can blame them since they are desirous in ruling till perpetuity?) Khir Toyo further added, "other Barisan Nasional parties should thus not be unduly concerned if the NEP was retained."

So it will be retained! For how long? Until Umno decides that they as a party don't want to exist anymore. And in which century or millennium do you think that will be?

Continuing the usual sandiwara which these guys have become specialists in, Khir Toyo blatantly and with a straight face lied while claiming that the NEP had not resulted in other races being marginalised since its introduction in the 1970s!!!!
