Why ler we see news like this every two years..??Instead of buying submarines ,MINDEF should have considered upgrading the Nuris... too many incidents..too old...are we gonna learn anything from history?
My deepest condolences to the families of victims. We should have a thorough investigations into the causes of tragedies. 14 out 30 Nuris have fallen down since. The Defense Ministry should not keep on blaming human errors and bad weather. Look into the other aspects, especially if the copters had been properly maintained and correct spare parts had been used for replacement.
Agree with deeroy. I think the Nuri should be about 35+ years old. I am 47 years old and as long as I could remember, it was the same old Nuri! Why submarine? just because Singapore has it?
To think of it.. we don't even have an all-weather search and rescue heli! And we have some russian helicopter (bought by Police and later handed over to the Bomba) flying around doing absolutely nothing useful!
The things our wise politicians do... feel like throwing up!
