For God's Sake, When Will This Fanaticism Be Banished From Our Schools?
The Perak Education Department will investigate a case where a female teacher caned four non-Muslim pupils for coming late to Arabic language class.
State education deputy director Ahmat Arbu Hamzah said the school did not force any non-Muslim pupil to attend the Arabic language classes unless they wanted to.
He said the four were supposed to attend Moral Studies held at the same time as the Arabic language classes.
“However, the school told me that the pupils did not turn up and were actually playing in their classroom. A teacher then punished them with a light tap (?) of the cane,” he said.
He said the school headmaster had contacted the pupils’ parents to discuss and resolve the matter. Ahmat was responding to a claim by the parent of one of the four Year Two pupils.
The 34-year-old housewife, who lodged a police report over the incident, had claimed that a female teacher had punished her eight-year-old son and three others for turning up late for Arabic lessons. She also complained that the school had insisted that the pupils attend the class because it was compulsory. (TheStar)
***** So there it goes again, the rabid fanaticism practiced by its blind followers; unhindered, unimpeded and apparently with the education authorities unconcerned. When 8 year-olds are made to suffer for the misguided policies and practices of our 'educationists' then there is something seriously wrong with the system.
The Education Minister can be expected to give another of his sermons on Monday morning claiming that it is not government policy to force pupils to attend Arabic classes. The state education department, that den infested by specimens who would put the Taliban to shame will come out with a statement that investigations showed no such incident took place, that the non-Muslim pupils were naughty and were therefore rightly punished but the teacher concerned however has apologised. Semuanya OK!

Religious fanaticism. That could be one of the reasons why there are some 60K Malay students in Chinese primary schools today.
Wellcome to Malaysia, truly truly Arabia
Send your kids to Australia for a first class education - virtually 'free' if you get PR first like that MCA deputy minister (I don't remember her name).
Are you referring to Datuk Dr Ng Yen Yen, anonymous?
