Dr Mahathir Admitted To IJN.
Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has been admitted to the National Heart Institute (IJN) for a medical check-up following a bout of flu.
The former prime minister was admitted this morning for a routine observation and blood tests, his aide Sufi Yusoff said in a statement Sunday. Dr Mahathir, 82, is expected to be kept under observation for a few days pending doctors' advice, he said.
On Nov 9 last year, Dr Mahathir was warded at IJN for a mild heart attack. He was discharged five days later.
Dr Mahathir was in Johor Baharu yesterday to deliver a keynote address at a leadership seminar organised by a website blog MYKMU.NET.
About 500 people attended the one-day seminar. (Bernama)

I wish Tun M well. I also wish he spend less energy on global affairs, and more on Malaysian issues.
Get well soon, Tun. We need you to keep Pak Lah alert. I am not a big fan of yours but we still need you. Should have stayed on as Mentor like what good old Mr. Lee Kuan Yew did.
