Boycott Permatang Pauh By-Election, Says Annuar Musa. Now This Is A More Realistic Proposal
Kelantan Umno Liaison Committee chairman Tan Sri Annuar Musa Friday suggested that the Barisan Nasional (BN) boycott the by-election to be held in the Permatang Pauh parliamentary constituency following the resignation of its Member of Parliament and Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail Thursday.He described the resignation of Dr Wan Azizah as a PKR political strategy to steer public focus away from the sodomy accusation against her husband and PKR advisor Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Speaking to reporters here, he said fielding a candidate would result in a waste of public funds and that it was unnecessary for the BN to go along with Anwar's political strategy. (Read the whole story HERE)
***** Now this is what I call a realistic guy. Unlike over-optimistic Muhyiddin who sees a 'golden chance' for Umno to wrest the seat, Annuar Musa obviously knows the score and instead of seeing his party do battle in the by-election and getting walloped to kingdom come, he realises the best way out of the impending battering is to loudly declare a boycott.
Sitting it out is better than a severe loss of face. But will the warmongers in Umno listen and heed his call?

i think Annuar Musa should just shut the Fk up! That boy talks like a chicken baxside! He should mind his own business and work towards gaining the Rakyat's confidence in umno.Now i realise that we have bunch of monkeys in politics. should get lock him in a Zoo.

We have to give Annuar Musa credit, atleast this guy see the outcome even before polling. UMNO needs more intelligent people like Annuar Musa to take charge, maybe he can salvage some credit for umno who is now at it lowest point, and is getting ready to go under. Not that the people care but to have Badawi at the top of umno is like the titanic, we couldn't careless if umno goes down with it. We just hate to see good people in umno go down with it.
Keep talking Annuar Musa, maybe sleeping PM may wake up and listen to your advice, forget about DPM, he is busy finding ways to sodomise Anwar back, Dolly has no problems going to toilet.
