As Expected, Najib Has Denied Involvement In Anwar Sodomy Allegation

Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has denied any involvement in the sodomy allegation against Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. “I am not involved in the case in any way,” the Deputy Prime Minister told reporters at Parliament lobby here on Monday.

On Saturday, Anwar's former aide Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan had lodged a police report alleging he had been sodomised by the PKR de facto leader.
A day later, Parti Keadilan Rakyat president Datin Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail released a picture of Najib's special officer Khairil Anas Yusof with Mohd Saiful at the Deputy Prime Minister’s office, implying that he was behind the conspiracy against Anwar.

Najib said the picture was taken three months ago when Mohd Saiful went to his office to apply for a government scholarship.
“The accuser (Mohd Saiful) met with my officer (Khairil Anas) because he wanted to apply for a scholarship from the Government. The picture was taken three months ago.

“He was a student leader and met with my officer. He had also met other leaders. The main question is did the act take place. That is for the police to establish,” Najib said. (The Star Update)

***** Why not try sending a young man to the DPM's office on the pretext of applying for a scholarship and see if the person can get beyond the guardhouse. If he succeeds and also manages to get a photograph with some senior pegawai there, then we'll consider taking Najib's words as truth.

It is a sign of the times however that not many people will believe Najib's denial. For such is the credibility of our current crop of leaders.

Exactly what I was thinking...

Also, did he get the scholarship? Why isn't he studying now? Why is he working for Anwar instead? Shouldn't he be looking elsewhere like anyone else who wanted to study?

Crazy allegations every where right, about this issue? I was reading that there are some fanatical parties even who are so confident that Anwar was NOT guilty in his previous sodomy charge. Where the heck do they get their info? Based on my past recollections, nobody said that Anwar was innocent. The judges undoubtedly agreed that the sodomy indeed took place, but only they had insufficient evidence to prove so. Neither was Anwar NOT guilty because they have no evidence to prove so.

Quoted from stephendoss.blogspot.com

"we find evidence to confirm that the appellants (Anwar and Sukma) were involved in homosexual activities and we are more inclined to believe that the alleged incident at Tivoli Villa did happen, sometime, this court, as a court of law, may only convict the appellants if the prosecution has successfully proved the alleged offences as stated in the charges, beyond reasonable doubt, on admissible evidence and in accordance with established principles of law. We may be convinced in our minds of the guilt or innocence of the appellants but our decision must only be based on the evidence adduced and nothing else."

Like Najib's boss implied, those who are guilty will usually deny it. So is Najib lying? But it's interesting that a guy who works for Anwar chose to go to Najib's office direct to apply for a scholarship. What more someone who flunked his previous university exams. And like Malaysian says, can any Tom, Dick or Harry just walk into the DPM office and take photo with his personal assistant? How about Sharir, Azalina and Mohd Yacob too? The more they lie, the more holes appear in their story.

He will surely deny. Normally, it's like that...that's what his "boss" said yesterday...so of course Najis will deny being involved!

Shafikah...based on your superior past recollections...do you remember that Anwar was supposed to have sodomized his wife's driver in that Apartment that by the way was not in existance yet?!

shafikah,
is it not 'coincidental' the 2 top 'personalities' back then are now the highest ranking ppl in their fields? (C. Police & A. General) It must've been a 'Mighty' achievement when there are so many better men for both jobs.

The judiciary is the same judiciary incahoots with the likes of vk. lingam & co. Malaysian courts has been without Juries since the 70's and credibility since 1986. We have given up on our judiciary since then.

Wait until the evidences released to the Public.
Then, Anwar life will be in real danger ...not from goverment but from
1. his wife
2. his daughters
3. his supporters

I want to see who will get him first !!

The credibility of Anwar is also such that he got the world watching us, the Turkish Embassy "inviting" him to please let them provide him with safety and shelter, and the US to watch his back and oppose any malicious charges against their puppet. Better the devil we know than one we don't.

The jury system is not flawless and there are equal voices on both sides for and against it, and yes our judiciary has suffered the biggest blow since 1988, but the present government is trying to rectify past wrongs. Yet the criticism never ceases. what do u propose?

whoever who brought up the jury issue is seriously ignorant and is hanging onto whatever he could find. the jury system was flawed and many thought when it was gone for good it was, well, for good. I personally know of someone who served as a peer before, who came to their decision because they felt sorry for the victim's family, not because they were satisfied beyond reasonable doubt that he was guilty.

Lets see you or I turn up at the guardhouse of the Deputy Prime Minister's Office, and see how far in we manage to get....let alone get to have a photo taken with one of the DPM's special assistants.

I smell a rat...

Oh come on. How come nobody is speculating that picture is photoshopped or something? A picture does NOT mean anything. Like I mentioned elsewhere, what meaning is if I take pictures with BN Ministers and also with Lim Kit Siang, Anwar and Abdul Hadi, does that mean I am "orang dalam" with ALL these parties??!!

Doesnt make sense! YB Azizah's pathetic excuse to back up ANwar is SO unrealistic and unbelievable!

If we can trust the police, the judiciary, the judges, the politicians.... Who the heck should we trust??

What is the whole point of having an "alternative" government even ei Pakatan Rakyat, will not the judicary, police and polticians appointed by these individuals too? Are the new govt really angels?
