Another 'Great' Suggestion By Muslim Consumers Association - Ban Handphone Use To Youths Below 18!
The Muslim Consumers Association of Malaysia (PPIM) has proposed the promulgation of an act to ban handphone use to youths below 18.PPIM project director Noor Nirwandy Mat Noordin said this was due to the rise in recording of vulgar acts on handphones by youths.
"Youths below 18 should get the permission of their parents to use handphones while the handphones should be registered under their parents' names," he told reporters here today.
Noor Nirwandy said action should also be taken against handphone sellers who forwarded obscene video clips.
"They downloaded obscene material from handphones sent for repairs or traded in," he said.
Noor Nirwandy said in a survey, PPIM discovered that several handphone shops in the capital and Selangor were selling lewd video clips downloaded from handphones for between RM5 and RM30 each. (Bernama)
***** When it comes to 'novel' suggestions, no one can beat these guys from PPIM. In their typically befuddled logic, if they don't like something then it should be banned. No questions asked. In the case of 18-year-olds it's ok for them to ride motorbikes and vote in elections but handphones? No way brudder.
I say just ignore these folks and let them wallow in their shallow little world.

What a load of non-sense.
No wonder they end up doing dismally in School, College & University (however they still get Scholarships!).
Instead of studying, they go about with their "holier than thou" attitude & expect us the ban this & ban that!
Remember, these are our future leaders! They are alreday getting ready to enter the BN to continue the BN's "pathetic" legacy!

Tolong jangan gunakan perkataan "Islam" bila anda mencadangkan idea/cadangan yang bodoh dan jelas mempamerkan begitu ceteknya minda. Penggunaan handphone sebagai alat telekomunikasi, perhubungan and pendidikan tidak dapat menafikan. Cadangkan anda untuk mengharamkan adalah bodoh. Ini melambangkan cara pemikiran authokratik and "one way school of thought". Pemikiran sebagai sekular disamping open minded lebih rational. "Usage of vulgar words" is envitable and is part of the growing up stage. You can reduce but should not suppress. When you suppress, it would grow wider due to curiosity. Men as per say explore all possibilities. Furthermore, using the word "Islam" just to distinguish your goodself from other NGO is a cheap publicity stunt. This is what Munirah from PKPIM said w.r.t the "baju jarang issue". Another scumbag with narrow minded thoughts. You can call it " The rational consumer group" or any thing else. You have no moral right to use Islam Malaysia, as you do not speak on our behalf.

They are not ' real' Muslims..they are people who call themselves Muslims with brains the size of a goldfish.
Let us all move on without them...
Trust PPIM to give us a little bit to laugh about in times of dire pocket-book straits...
A good thing stupidity is still legal, tho... otherwise these folks would surely be up the creek...
We can now see the future of the Malays in the pronouncements of these people. And Malaysia is truly ****ed
