Another Desperate 'Malays In Danger' Umno Ploy To Stay Relevant
Malay unity is presently at its lowest level, said Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi."Unlike previously, the Malays do not have a common direction and because of this, some groups have raised issues which are no longer relevant like Malay supremacy," Zahid told reporters.
He said the Malays were not asking more than what had been stated in the Federal Constitution nor did they want to deny other races of their rights.
"We just want to defend our rights," said Zahid.
He added that the Malays had also lost their political power, based on their representation in parliament and recent incidents in Selangor and Perak. (Bernama)

Umno only recently whacked every citizen in the country with a crippling fuel price hike and so soon after the damage done this idiot speaks of ketuanan Melayu as if others are responsible for the predicament the once powerful political party is in. The fact is that many Malays have seen through the game these buggers have been playing and have realised albeit late that they have been duped over and over again. Now Zahid wants to pull the race card again hoping against hope that it will resonate. Sorry brudder, too little too late. The Malays have found a more genuine party and truly dedicated pemimpin2 Melayu to lead them.
Umno can't even keep the Melayu2 in the party united and happy, what more of those outside? To hell with hypocrites. Get a life Zahid.

UMNO has been spewing this crap ever since the results of the last GE. Desperation has caused them to try to use the "Racial" card now. They don't give a damn if there are "Racial Riots" caused by the "evil" they are vomiting out!

HOWEVER, what is worst of all is that UMNO is actually insulting the Malays because they think the Malays will "buy" the vomit that they are spewing out!
If this is the type of leaders UMNO is dishing out to our country, I rather stick with PAS. I saw this guy give the highly emotionally charged speech on TV. Sounded like he was at the UMNO general assembly. What crap!
If DAP leaders were to make such statements, he would have been arrested.
UMNO can vomit such seditious stuff. The Opposition can't. UMNO can have demonstrations, the Opposition can't. UMNO can do anything they like in this country!
Race-based politics in itself is a dying paradigm... how on Earth does UMNO expect to remain relevant?

After all, Zahid should be well aware that when it comes to "race", only two are really relevant anymore:
- Human
- Formula One
