Terengganu MB Impasse - PM To Seek Audience With King
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said that he will seek an audience with His Majesty the Yang dipertuan Agong over the Terengganu Menteri Besar issue as the 'matter needs to be resolved as soon as possible'.
After days of dillydallying and making statements about the constitutionality of the palace's choice for MB while carefully avoiding a meeting with His Majesty, Pak Lah, probably after being urged by his colleagues and the Attorney General (who himself was refused an audience with the King), has realised that the only solution to the impasse is to meet His Majesty in person and plead Idris' case. While it is doubtful the palace will accept Idris Jusoh at this juncture, at least as a face saving measure a third and mutually acceptable candidate could be discussed and appointed at the earliest.
If Umno were to persist with the argument that the palace must pick the person who has the support of the majority of the assemblymen, it is not going to get them anywhere. At least not on this occasion.
Many agree that the PM approaching the Agong hat in hand, is the right strategy in resolving this issue which has stretched for over two weeks. Terengganu Umno liaison secretary Datuk Rosol Wahid said it was a positive proposal and should be done quickly for the sake of the people.

HOW COULD THIS IDIOT BLOCKHEAD BE SO DARN ARROGANT.
WHAT A FREAK-OUT SICK A**HOLE, WANTING THE AGONG TO KOW-TOW TO HIM.
TRYING TO USE THE CONSTITUTION & TAINTED JUDICIARY TO GET AN UPPER HAND.
This will surely be the beginning of the end.
Ya man, I can't believe our PM took so long to make this move. What in the world was he thinking? His position is already shaky, but still want kuai lan...
A bit too late, isn't it? After dilly-dallying for more than two weeks Dollah sees the need to see the Sultan now; meanwhile the MB has started work. How do you resolve it now. Let Ahmad Said carry on his job, or .... is it to be elections again? Wake up!
Hahahaha...he thought HRH would kow-tow to him?!
Isn't this the typical arrogant behaviour of the UMNOputras!
Pak Lah sent the AG who got snubbed (serves him right) & so now he has no other choice buit to go crawling to the Palace.
If he was awake at all, he should have done this a loooonnggggg time ago instead of expecting HRH to back-down.
By the way, we all know why Pak Lah wants Idris Jusoh back as MB don't we?
This Badawi should, according to Islam give a chance to the newly appointed Terengganu MB Datuk Ahmad Said.
There must be a very Concrete reason as to why the Palace die-hardly rejects the often telling lies Mr.Jusoh to continue for another term for MB.
Now headache upon headache for Badawi because he too often lies and doesn't stick to the true teachings of Islam.
