100,000 Rela Members To Receive Initial RM9 Million Allowances. What A Bloody Waste Of Good Money!
The infamous People's Volunteer Corps (Rela) has received an initial allocation of RM9 million as allowances for some 100,000 members, Bernama reports. Apparently the thugs have made a requisition for RM32 million for services rendered, i.e. hatchet jobs and other 'operations' which lowlifes like these are normally linked to. At a time when there are loud calls by the public and rational groups for the disbanding of these government-sanctioned and funded gangsters, the useless bums at the Home Ministry are actually encouraging serious discussion about the the blueprint for Rela's short-term and long-term plans to strengthen the organisation!
In fact the Rela director-general and other senior officers would be having a four-day 'brainstorming' session beginning today on the blueprint and the drawing up of a Rela Act to streamline its functions. (How are these guys going to brainstorm without the basic requirements? It is as incongruous as a thunderstorm without thunder!)
As if enough damage has not already been done by these hooligans, the Home Affairs Ministry Parliamentary Secretary seriously pondered whether "the time had come for Rela to be made a department," while adding that Rela had requested for an additional 3,000 posts of officers to the existing 664 to oversee 350,000 members throughout the country. OMG!!
And just as it seemed that things couldn't get any worse, he cheerfully disclosed that Rela also planned to build a new headquarters at a cost of RM50 million in Putrajaya!
A big "Malaysia Boleh, Sieg Heil" cheer to the ruling party's vigilantes. For them at least, Semuanya OK!

When are the army going to take over??
No wonder most of the third world countries are under military rule!
Remember, the Malaysian Army is also run by thugs who take their orders not from the King, but from umno
if they want money, change their name, and recruit ppl with proper guidelines and rules and send them to training on law and human rights. RELA is for volunteers only, and anyone can be part of it and the truth is most bad guys joined it to bully others and clean their record.
i was like wtf when i know they have a department office in Putrajaya and we paid for it and the thugs wages as well!
Another waste of money are those air-cond public toilets in Bukit Bintang which have reportedly been closed.
Set up another department and you get another department head and several new senior posts for some people to elevate themselves after being stuck somewhere without further avenue for promotons. This how mediocre government servants get themselves promoted.
This is just another way to payoff potential voters too by paying allowance to useless members who have nothing better to do. This is all unnecessary since it is a redundant function easily done by the present enforcement agencies.
What function do you expect for silly goons with hardly an education to carry enforcement duties? Give them a bit od authority and they will definitely abuse it. Most joined rela so thet they can get their hands on shotguns to go hunting. The extinction of certain species of wildlife can easily be attributed to shotguns supplied to rela members. Give them more guns and soon all the wild faunas will be extinct.
