The PM Has Spoken. Now Await The Mahathir Tsunami.
So the PM has finally opened up to the media regarding the spat between him and Dr Mahathir. Better late than never don't you think?
Whatever the PM's detractors may say, and this includes those on the internet, (the very ones who castigated Mahathir when he was PM and are now eulogizing him!), Pak Lah came across as an honest person with his frank and down-to-earth explanations on what transpired and why he reacted the way he did.
"I chose to keep silent because I do not want to quarrel with Tun in the newspapers. Tun himself had said in a statement he made, he felt hurt because he did not get the information he wanted. He hopes to be informed. If the PM does not speak, let the ministers speak."
It is the people who want to know what is happening. This is what is being done and it is true the Cabinet ministers prefer if I don't talk," he said.
Abdullah said many supported his decision to keep silence to avoid confusion that might affect relations between him and Mahathir.
"Many people feel if I don't talk is better. Many people told me not to talk, (it will) cause confusion. Don't. Allowing the ministers to answer is enough," he added.
Frankly there has been a lot of unnecesssary speculation and loose talk by certain parties on the PM's hold on and exercise of power since he took over. If he had given a warning to internet media players including bloggers it is probably because of a few shit-stirrers who make it a point to find fault with every government decision and are the only ones who find hidden agendas behind every word spoken by him. Apparently these geniuses know something that we don't or are better at deducing and arriving at sometimes ridiculous conclusions and untenable conspiracy theories. They did it to Mahathir and I'm sure they'll do it to whoever becomes the next PM. It is a dirty habit, shit-stirring, but try telling it to them.
Be that as it may, let us see how Dr M reacts to this explanation by Pak Lah. I have a feeling that Mahathir will come out fighting even more strongly. Be prepared for a tsunami.

I am beginning to see a trap sprung jointly by PM and ex-PM. Ex-PM expounds the dissenting voices and vicious comments among the many players and appear to 'support' them.
PM judges the response & sincerity of his Team A members and political others.
I see a vicious purge in the making with PM & ex-PM patting each other on the back.
