Khairy-Maya Karin In Limelight As Siti-Datuk K Take Backseat.
Oh how the public loves a scandal! Malaysians are going berserk Google searching and trying to extract every little juicy drop of information they can get to satisfy their voracious appetite on the 'Khairy-Maya Karin' story.
Never mind that a few days ago most were blissfully unaware of this issue until Khairy Jamaluddin rather shockingly announced it to the whole world with his now famous denial. While it is almost certain that there is indeed no 'connection' between the two, his statement has had the opposite effect and galvanised an entire nation into becoming internet 'searchers' out to find some grain of information linking them both. Maya Karin to be fair, on her part, outrightly denied any liaison and took the whole thing in her stride.
A few days prior to this rather surprising and (ill-timed?) revelation, the country was just getting used to Siti Nurhaliza's impending marriage to Datuk K and everything was Siti this and Siti that. Now however the spotlight has shifted rather suddenly.
Why this preoccupation of the masses with the troubles and scandals of the celebrities, I simply can't figure out. After all they too are 'normal' people like us with the usual peccadilloes all of us are guilty of. Yet when it involves the rich and famous the brouhaha created is sometimes unnerving.
Perhaps some enlightened samaritan reading this blog could give us an explanation for this strange behaviour of the common folk.

About ten days ago he was playing hero and leading a bunch of people demonstrating in front of US ambassy..he'd even promised to come up with a list of companies that are linked to Israel so that people can boycott these companies...
And 5 days ago some bloggers revealed that ECM libra which is partly owned by KJ is actually indirectly linked to a well known pro-Israel businessman..
which ultimately leads to his denial of taking the singer as his second wife- with the intention to shift the focus and hope nobody would notice the mess he has created. he sure knows that shallow malaysian are more interested in scandals than real issues..
Typical politicain.. shoot his own feet, shift the focus and hope nobody notice..
