Speed Demons Beware. E-enforcement Is Coming.
The Road Transport Department (JPJ) is studying a plan to introduce e-enforcement as a strategy to reduce road accidents nationwide. Through the system, traffic offences can be detected more quickly and summonses can be issued on-line to the offenders. e-enforcement models from several countries like France, Japan and Korea were being studied.
In France, e-enforcement had successfully reduced road accidents by 60 per cent. Under the system, electronic gadgets like closed-circuit television cameras and sensors will be installed at strategic locations. They will be connected to a computer system to facilitate quick enforcement.
Now this is what we need to put behind bars, these evil bastards who burn the roads without care and break every traffic rule there is and still have time to do a bit of road bullying on the side. Thumbs-up for e-enforcement. It will enable law-abiding drivers to take back the roads from these crackpots in cars and motorbikes.
