‘Broke’ Hillary Clinton Fails To Pay Bills

NY senator’s campaign reported a total of $8.7mn in debts in its most recent filings

Landlords and owners of small businesses have found that Hillary Clinton’s campaign for the US presidency is slow to pay its bills. Two Ohio companies say their efforts to collect $25,000 for producing events have been unsuccessful, Politico.com reported. They complain that no one is returning their telephone calls or e-mails and one said a certified letter got no results.

Clinton has fallen behind Barack Obama in fund-raising. She is also limited in the amount of money she can spend in the primary campaign. The campaign reported a total of $8.7 million in debts in its most recent filings.

While much of the money is owed to political consultants, pollsters and advertising companies who expect to get their money late, the campaign also has outstanding debts of $3,500 to the Sioux City Art Centre in Iowa, $15,000 to an Iowa-based supermarket chain for food and drinks and $7,700 to a theatrical employees union.

Clinton spokesman Jay Carson said, “The campaign pays its bills regularly and in the normal course of business, and pays all of its bills.” It’s not just the size of Clinton’s debts that’s noteworthy. It’s also that her unpaid bills extend beyond the realm of high-priced consultants who typically let bills slide as part of the cost of doing business with powerful clientele whose success is linked to their own.

Clinton also reported debts more than one month old to a slew of apolitical businesses and organisations, large and small, in the states through which this historically expensive Democratic primary campaign has raged. (DNA)

Her husband lied, she lied, blatantly and self-righteously. Not just America but the world too doesn't need this couple to lead!
