MIC State Assemblyman Shot Dead. What Gives?
Deputy Johor MIC chief and state assemblyman for Tenggaroh Datuk S Krishnasamy was shot dead this afternoon at the Malaysian Indian Congress state party headquarters in Johor Baru, state Deputy Police Chief Datuk Mohd Mokhtar Mohd Sharif said. Apparently the murder was committed by a lone gunman. (Malaysiakini reports that there were two assailants at the scene)
No other details are available at this point in time.
The dead assemblyman has had his share of violent incidents in the past including the October 31st 2006 alleged assault on DAP MP for Ipoh Barat M. Kulasegaran at the Maika Holdings Bhd (Maika) Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Legend Hotel, Kuala Lumpur
In the last elections he had beaten the PAS candidate Sheikh Abdullah Said Salleh for the state assembly seat with a majority of 8,287 votes.

Was there another gunman on the grassy knoll ?
Surely the blame won't be pinned on Hindraf, with its alleged links to the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam?

you never know. how low can politicians go? equally hineous acts have been committed. remember the russian poisoned in London with the fingers now pointing to the Putin government responsible for the political assasination.
Dr Joe Ferdandez was assassinated by the JI in Kulim. The same gang again?
The MCA just had a very public display of the involvement of criminal elements in its internal political maneuverings.
I think this case also shows equivalent criminal participation in the MIC's politics.
What next ? UMNO of course...
Some politicians behave like samseng (gangsters) so as the saying goes, "Live by the sword, DIE by the sword".
