Indian, Chinese Immigrants Fare Well In UK

Migrants from India and China are considered most successful in Britain, while most of their counterparts from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Iran, Somalia and Turkey are a burden on the taxpayer.

A think tank of the ruling Labour party has stated that immigrants from these nations have failed to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the country's open economy and claim state benefits.

A study conducted by the Institute for Public Policy Research has, however, said immigrants from many countries do better than people born in the UK in terms of work, earnings and the school performance of their children.

State statistics over the past 15 years revealed that Indian, Chinese, Filipino, Sri Lankan and Iranian children do better than average in school.

The study, based on an analysis of government figures, has focused on the benefits rather than the downside of large scale migration.

The figures show that Somalis in Britain are the worst-off migrant group. Fewer than one in five has a job and four out of five live in subsidised council or housing association homes, Daily Mail reported.

The report stated, ''There are some immigrant communities predominantly made up of people who have come to the UK for non-economic reasons, for example to join family members or to seek asylum, rank consistently lower on most indicators than the UK average.

Moreover, some immigrant communities were faring less well due to the poor socio-economic situations they find themselves in. ''Many in these groups are fleeing persecution and violence in their homelands and require protection,''the report said.

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown had spoken of 'British jobs for British workers' and is bringing in a points-based immigration system, which would give priority to those with education, skills and high earnings. (UNI)

Ya, lah. Chinese and Indians can pretty much survive and thrive anywhere in the world.
Unfortunately the Indian community in Bolehland is proving an exception to this - no thanks to the MIC and Semi-Value's maneuverings.

Well it's pretty simple...
It's UK...where the number of un-evolved apes in Parliament should be significantly lesser than those in Bolehland...that plays quite a role besides any other factors.
