Anwar Ibrahim Hits Out At Lee Kuan Yew.
In a surprisingly strong comment Parti Keadilan Nasional (Keadilan) adviser Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim hit out at former Prime Minister and current Minister Mentor of Singapore Lee Kuan Yew saying that he considers him as someone still trapped in primitive thinking when he alleged the Chinese in Malaysia and Indonesia were marginalised.
Party adviser Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said such an allegation clearly reflected the Minister Mentor as a racist, to an extent he had intervened in the affairs of the Chinese in other countries, while the Singapore Malays were being neglected.
"What is more regrettable is the insensitivity of Lee Kuan Yew towards the plight of other races, be they Bumiputeras or Indians," he said in a statement issued here Monday.
Anwar said Lee should be fair to ensure justice for all races where they be safeguarded, no corrupt practices and for all be given equal opportunities in development.
The allegation by Lee, made during a speech at an international forum in Singapore on Sept 15, drew criticisms from various quarters in Malaysia and Indonesia.
Will the Singapore government perhaps demand an apology from the former DPM for insulting a national icon and insinuating, nay directly calling him a racist who is insensitive to the plight of Malays and Indians, apart from the pointed reference to his 'primitive' thinking?

Anwar,if you can agree with me that the "Bumiputra-Non Bumiputra" dichotomy makes bad policy, I will agree with you that LKY is a racist.
Politician again! Anwar is no different, he is trying to score points like others.
If Anwar alleged that LKY is "racist"& marginalise the Malay Singaporeans, then, personally I would be very happy if Malaysia could emulate Singapore' "racist" policy of treating the minority i.e treat the non-bumi Malaysian minorities like what Singapore treat the Malay minorities over there. UMNO or Anwar, will you do it? If not, stop accusing Singapore.

I also know now how to bury my head in the sand and tell you that we never treat the minorities in our country any less better than the majority. (see, I learn fast, right?)
I must say sorry for the little hiccup I had awhile ago that made the context of my speech missing or jumbling up some words in between,actually I wanted to say chinese marginalized the majority in your country, .. er..hic!! hic!
