World Cup Street Party For PJ Folks.
The wee hours of July 10 will see the World Cup fever which has gripped nations since June 9, come to a climax and what better way to usher the final than joining the MasterCard Street Party at the Curve in Mutiara Damansara.
The event, dubbed "World Cup street party of the year for Petaling Jaya City folks" will unfold with a number of entertaining and exciting programmes, including a stage performance by local singing sensation Jaclyn Victor. MasterCard, the official card of the World Cup, is staging the event in collaboration with Ikano Power Centre, the Curve and some of the official World Cup sponsors like Adidas, Coca-Cola, Emirates, Hyundai, Philips and Astro.
Jim Cheah, vice president and senior country manager, Malaysia and Brunei MasterCard Worldwide said the launch of the event would include a kick-off with the official tournament ball, a three-minute fireworks display and culminating in the live telecast of the World Cup final between Italy and France. "We want as many local fans to immerse themselves in the euphoria of the final and enjoy the many programmes lined up for them," said Cheah.
So all of you Klang Valley guys and gals who like football or just love to party, now you know where the action is. See you all there.
