Umno Youth To Battle The Opposition In Cyberspace

The Umno Youth movement will use the internet to ward off attacks by the opposition who are resorting to this medium of communication to woo voters in the coming general election. Its vice-head Khairy Jamaluddin said Umno Youth perceived efforts by the DAP to campaign via the cyber world as a serious matter as many of the internet users comprised the young generation.

“We concede that this is one avenue that we have not ventured into in totality. We have to address this matter in the near future as we know that the internet will be a popular medium of communication in the future.
“Without the presence of the Umno Youth, we will lose support from the young generation who only look at the real world through the internet,” he told reporters when asked to comment on the intention of the DAP to use this medium to campaign in the next general election.

Describing the campaign using the internet as a major challenge to the Barisan Nasional (BN) election machinery, Khairy said Umno Youth would monitor the message conveyed by the opposition via the electronic medium.
This was because the information in the internet was more inclined towards sensationalism and its validity had yet to be ascertained compared to the mainstream print and electronic media, he said.

Asked on Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s intention to sue him for describing the former deputy prime minister as a traitor and an agent of the United States, Khairy said: “I will not apologise for what I have said.” (NST)

***** Khairy and his motley group of hangers-on are welcome to the cyber world to present their case. However theirs will be an uphill task for they enter the fray totally devoid of any credibility or goodwill, except from computer illiterate Umno lackeys.

Dictating policies from Level 4 and making heroic 'maruah bangsa' speeches to fawning boot polishers is the easy part. Gaining some level of believability and respect in the goblok-sphere is a totally different ball game. Try it Khairy. It should provide the rest of us some comedic relief.

Bring it on, monkey boy.

You'll find that the Net's a lot less gullible and submissive than all those bootlickers you're so accustomed to. We have eyes, ears and minds of our own.

And many of us have really sharp teeth.

UMNO is so inbred

It would be a good test to see how these UMNO cybertroopers respond to facts and whether they are ready to concede.

I suspect they will harp on just a few issues or incidents and drive that home, such as Namewee controversy. They do not have any defence for the PKFZ issue, anti-Christian web posting, etc.

Mat Rempit chief is ignorant (as usual) that the truth needs no defence. Only "lies" need to be defended, hence, the propping up of a "spinning squad" to abuse and loot the cyber space.

Bankrupt of wisdom, political goons should learn. Better than a thousand words is one word that brings truth.

The best Mandarin saying to describe these goons, "cheng shi pu zu, pai shi you yu." In Canotnese, we call these goons, "yan cha", the throw aways like sugar cane fibres after the juice is squeeze. In English, they are political poltergeists of destruction. Hence, the latter term, "pai shi you yu." Darker achievements of humanity.

Hohoho, bring it on Khairy boy!

You and your UMNO lackeys will be like fishes out of water in cyberspace. Unlike the opposition which has already gain a strong foothold, you probably know next to nothing about the laws of the internet.

Look at Nazri, he wants to take action against Youtube! YOUTUBE! Whatever plans you have, please execute them as soon as possible because I'm dying to see how far UMNO will go to make themselves look stupid.
