"Religious Tolerance Vital For Malaysia," Says PM. Then Why Are Temples Still Being Demolished By Religious Zealots?
Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said religious tolerance is important in a multiracial country like Malaysia as it allows the people to better understand and tolerate each other.The prime minister said religious tolerance could be nurtured through dialogue between people of different faiths.
"In this manner, we'll be able to understand what's happening in the society. That's my advice to Muslims and non-Muslims," he said when closing the meeting of Umno Religious Bureau chairmen here today.
He said people should exercise restraint when talking about matters pertaining to religion to prevent untoward incidents.
"This is because religion is a very sensitive issue for everybody," he said.
The prime minister called on the different communities in the country to develop a deeper understanding of each other's religion. (Bernama)
***** The disconnect between what Pak Lah is preaching and what is actually happening in the country is frightening to say the least. Either the PM does not read the news or is perhaps misinformed about the goings on in this fair land of ours. How else can he make such a perfect muhibbah-style speech when Hindu temples have been bulldozed and leveled in Selangor less than 48 hours ago?
Malaysia's credibility as an oasis of ethnic and religious tolerance has been flushed down the toilet where it really belongs.

Hate to tell you this. The PM knows not what is happening on the ground. But one thing he knows very well is, he's f..k... his new wife all over the world.
In these four long years, this sleeping oldman has been:

Corruption & crime have increased. Our nation is regressing. Situation has deteriorated till his own ministers are bitching among themselves, police force has internal conflicts (the IGP said some police member has set him up).

Going by recent happens, Malaysia is already showing all the symptoms of a failed state, and the rate of decline is accelerating.
The people are the only salvation. Power to the people.
Deepavali is around the corner, and Bodowi is going to give speeches how he is there to listen to the people and how he will sort out things. He would not mention anything about breaking of temples etc but as a true diplomat say everything is okay.
